Terms & Conditions

Effective date: these Terms apply to all use of the Loyalty Program on Renaissance Cinemas website, mobile apps, and cinema locations.

These Loyalty Program Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the Renaissance Cinemas Loyalty Program (the “Program”), operated by Renaissance Cinemas (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). The Program allows eligible customers to earn points from qualifying online bookings and redeem those points for participating rewards inside our cinema locations.

By earning or redeeming loyalty points, or otherwise participating in the Program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not participate in the Program.

1. Definitions

• “Points” means loyalty points awarded to an eligible customer account under the Program.
• “Available Points” means Points that have been awarded, have not expired, and have not already been redeemed.
• “Qualifying Booking” means a confirmed booking made on the website or mobile app that meets the Program’s eligibility, payment-method, and account-linking conditions.
• “Redemption” means exchanging Available Points for a participating reward at a Renaissance Cinemas location.

2. Earning points

• Points are awarded only for qualifying transactions occurring on or after 01 Nov 2026. Transactions before that date do not earn Points under the Program.
• Points for a Qualifying Booking are credited only after the related show has ended, not at the time of purchase.
• Points are awarded only for Qualifying Bookings made through the Renaissance Cinemas website or mobile app and linked to a loyalty customer account.
• Please note: all points calculation is unavailable for bookings made at the box office in our cinema branches.
• Points are calculated from the booking amount using the Company’s then-current awarding rules, and may be subject to rounding.
• Eligible payment methods are all payment methods available on the app and website.
• We may refuse, reverse, or adjust Points where we reasonably believe there is fraud, abuse, error, duplicate claim, or a breach of these Terms.

3. Redeeming points (in cinema only)

IMPORTANT: You may create a redemption and receive a code from My Account on the website. The reward is collected inside our cinema locations. Points cannot be transferred to another person or exchanged for cash.

• Creating a redemption from My Account checks your Available Points and issues a redemption code.
• You must present the redemption code at a participating Renaissance Cinemas location to collect the reward.
• Reward availability, point cost, and participating items may vary by location and may change without prior notice.
• Once a Redemption is created and Points are deducted, it is final except where the Company determines an error occurred.
• Points are not legal tender, are not a bank deposit, have no cash surrender value, and do not earn interest.

4. Expiry of points

• Earned Points expire 365 days after the date they are awarded, unless the Company states a different period in writing for a specific promotion.
• Only Available Points (unexpired and unused) may be redeemed.
• Upon expiry, unused Points are forfeited automatically and are not restored, extended, or paid out as cash, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.

5. Limitations and disclaimers

• The Program is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted access to points balances, earning, or redemption.
• To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Company is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from Program participation, expiry of Points, or reward unavailability.
• These Program Terms supplement our general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. In case of conflict regarding loyalty earning or redemption, these Terms prevail for that subject matter.

6. Amendments

• The Company may amend these Terms at any time by publishing an updated version on this page. Continued participation after publication constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
• The version displayed on this page at the time you earn or redeem Points is the version that applies to that action.

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Program shall be subject to the competent courts of Egypt, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections (if any) that apply.
